The completion of Parkline in Kent Town marked the end of a five-month cleaning program for Thirteen Commercial Cleaning, carried out across the final stages of one of Adelaide’s major residential developments.
Built by Multiplex for Chasecrown, Parkline is a 12-storey development comprising 61 apartments, commercial tenancies and shared facilities at 9 Dequetteville Terrace. Our team was brought in to manage the final cleaning requirements as the building progressed towards completion and handover.
More than 50 cleaners were involved throughout the program, with the workforce adjusted according to the progress of the site and the areas becoming available. The work included the final clean of the apartments, together with cleaning across common areas, tenant spaces, the basement, corridors, lifts and internal glazing.
The program required the team to work alongside an active construction environment, with areas being completed and released progressively. With a compressed schedule, timing and coordination were important to keep the cleaning works moving while maintaining the expected standard across the development.
Particular attention was given to the final presentation of the building, including the removal of construction dust, marks and residue from newly completed surfaces. The combination of residential areas, shared spaces and commercial components also meant that the cleaning program had to adapt to different requirements throughout the project.
After five months on site, the cleaning works were completed as part of the final stages of Parkline, with the completed areas presented to the required standard for handover and occupation.
