Thirteen Commercial Cleaning has completed the final cleaning works at The Osmond, a $60 million, six-storey luxury apartment development on Osmond Terrace in Norwood. Designed by Aplin Cook Gardner and delivered by Sarah Constructions, the project comprises 22 residences and reached its topping-out milestone during construction, marking an important stage towards completion.
Our team was engaged for approximately two months to carry out the final internal and external cleaning across the development, with more than 50 cleaners involved throughout the program. The works covered the residences, common areas and external areas, with a strong focus on removing construction dust, marks and residue and preparing the building for handover.
A significant part of the scope was the detailed cleaning of the extensive glazing throughout the building. This included both internal and external glass, as well as frames and surrounding areas. For the external glazing at higher levels, our team used boom lifts to safely access and detail the windows and frames, ensuring the finished surfaces were ready for presentation.
The final stages of a large construction project require close coordination with the builder and other trades, particularly as different areas become available for cleaning at different times. Our team worked alongside the construction team throughout the program, adapting the cleaning schedule as the project progressed and maintaining the required standard across the areas completed.
The result was a fully detailed and presentation ready development, ready for the final stages of inspection and handover.
